I like a lot of the financial writers and advisers like  Ric Edleman, Dave Ramsey,and David Bach.   They all have very sound advice and some of it I’ve accepted and used wisely and some I’ve listened to and made my own decisions.

David Bach was the first to introduce me to having a frugal mindset before I even knew who Dave Ramsey was!  David Bach introduced me to the “Latte Factor” – stop spending extra on things you could live without – “find out what investing your small savings can do for you.”   I strongly suggest you take a look at his books and learn more about how you can “Finish Rich.”

Scotties Facial Tissues are a $1 at Shoppers this week.  If you use the IP coupon from Scotties Promotion website.  You will get a $.50 coupon (doubles to $1)  or $1.00 IP coupon depending on your answer to the website question you will then be able to get a box for FREE!

I recommend using IE to print these since bricks.com has an issue with Firefox. I just answered the question “Yes” and got a $.50 coupon and then tried “No” and got a $1.00 coupon.  You will have to use a different computer in order to print multiple coupons.

I was looking closely at the P&G brand Saver for this week and discovered that it has some pretty good coupons for our area.  For example the $1.00 off Bounty paper towels are for 1 multi pack or 2 any size and there is a $1.00 off Iams cat food.   Several others are pretty good too.

I then did a search for other coupons that are P&G products and came across the P&G Sample and Coupon Everyday Solutions website.  Click HERE to sign up for samples and coupons.

If I understand it correctly each month about this time you can login and then select samples and coupons that you would like.  This is great!

Today, I went with my daughter to Harris Teeter.   It was a great trip.  Not only did I get this and so much more for only $34.80, the original amount being $78.64, I had the best service at any grocery store in the area!   I really praise the Harris Teeter in Manassas on Galveston Court off of Prince William Parkway.  Thank you!  I will be a returning customer.

My daughter is now at the stage were she wants to start moving and getting around.  I wasn’t sure how this trip would go.  We got there around 10:00 on a Friday morning and quickly got everything I wanted and out of there by 11:20.  Plus, I had a question about a price and they quickly checked on it for me.
