Are there any other magazines that offer coupons besides All You?

I did some searching and found the 2010 Magazine Coupon Schedule which lists several popular magazines some I’ve subscribed to.  The magazine that will follow this program all year is Woman’s Day.    See my post HERE on a great deal I have with CampusFundraising.  Remember it ends March 15. I was trying to decide which magazines to order besides All You.   I’m definitely going to order Woman’s Day (68 tri-weekly issues) – normal newsstand price $2.79 each.  Pay only $0.41 per issue.

Here is the scoop.  I spent $34.96 at Giant today and saved $36.12.   Plus, I got a $5 and $3 catalina to use on my next trip.    I saved 50%!

I used coupons from the Small Victories magazine available at Giant. Ask customer service for this booklet.

There are 4 – $1 double coupons in the Giant circular. Check your Giant circular because it is only available in those ads sent home.

I did 2 catalina deals on this trip.

Spend $15 of frozen food and get $5

Spend $15 of Nature’s Promise (Giant’s Organic brand) and get $3

This is what I did:

1 – Cornbeef Brisket point cut $1.49 lb = $7.69  (I will make it this week and have for dinner and a couple lunches)

1 – 5 lb bag All purpose potatos = $2  (Perfect for the cornbeef and homemade fries)

1 – Green Cabbage $.29 lb = $1.09  (Same as above)

1- Gold Fish Peppridge Farm = $1.47 (Used $1.00 coupon from Small Victories booklet)

1 – Thomas Bagels $2.50 (Used $1.00 coupon March All You magazine)

1 – Dried Goya Lima Beans on clearance $.84 (Not a huge lima bean fan but they are very healthy and I’m hoping I can find a good recipe besides my daughter loves to play with the bags of beans in the kitchen.)

1 – Taco Seasoning in container on clearance $1.60

Spend $15 of frozen food and get $5

1 – Giant Pepper Strips = $1.25 each  (Used FREE coupon from Small Victories booklet)

2 – Broccoli Cheese Birds Eye box  = $1.00 each (Used $1.00/2 coupon from 2/7 ss + $1 double coupon)

4 – Peas bag Birds Eye  = $1.00 each (2 – Used $1.00/2 coupon from 2/7 ss + $1 double coupon)

4 – Corn bag Birds Eye  = $1.00 each (2 – Used $1.00/2 coupon from 2/7 ss + $1 double coupon)

4 – Spinach Birds Eye Box  = $1.00 each (2 – Used $1.00/2 coupon from 2/7 ss + $1 double coupon)

Spend $15 of Nature’s Promise (Giant’s Organic brand) and get $3

3 – NP Mac & Cheese $1.33 each

1 – Garbanzo beans $1.00 (Used FREE coupon from Small Victories booklet)

1 – NP Raspberry Syrup $3.49 each (saved $.50)

1 – NP Edamame $2.50

1 – NP Gallon Whole Milk $5.99

Total before savings $70.09

Your Total Savings $36.12

Total after savings $33.97 + tax $.99

Total OOP $34.96

On Saturday I stopped at CVS to get some Benadryl for my daughter.  She had a very strange case of hives on Friday and the doctor said that she was ok but must have been exposed to something that she was allergic to.  We just can’t figure out what it could be.   The hives didn’t last long.  She wasn’t bothered by them either.
