My name is Holly i.e. RedBerryDeals.com.  If this is your first time on my blog I welcome you!  Feel free to take a look around.  I created this blog almost two years ago to post my deals and shopping trips.  Now I have a place to also post other deals and interesting tid-bits about savings.  I love to teach others and hope you will start saving more today.

Here is a little guide about my blog:

1.  Click on Beginners Start Here to learn about Coupons and how to get started on fantastic shopping trip deals.

2. Click on FAQ to learn some of the lingo and answer basic questions.  These are questions that I have had when I started.   I will continue to add more questions in the future.

3. Click on Store Coupon Policies to understand what the coupon policies are particularly for Washington Metropolitan stores.  Feel free to leave comments or ask questions.  I’m always updating these.  If you know of new policies let me know.

4. Scroll down and look at the side bar of my blog.  You will see links to other blogs and helpful websites that I go to on a regular basis.  I’m a novice here and admit to it!  These are the pros!  There is a lot of information out there and I feel these blogs are the best of the best.

My background:

I’m a conservative woman who works outside the home.    I’m a wife to a wonderful husband and Mother to a bubbly baby girl. We live in Northern Virginia, home to lots of traffic, politics, and expensive shopping. I’ve always been interested in saving money and after having my daughter I learned that coupons and shopping frugally really does work. It can work for you too.

My husband and I have other hobbies too. I like to machine embroider, knit, quilt, sew and create crafts.

I hope you will enjoy this blog as much I do too. I started my blog back in the Fall 2008, shortly after I learned to shop wisely, I became so excited about my deals I had to share them with others. I started posting on forums and other places, but then realized a blog would fit my every need. A blog can provide me a place to post all of my frugal shopping trips, my thoughts about savings, and a place to organize my thoughts.

My daughter keeps me really busy so I don’t have a lot of time between taking care of her, housework and working full time to keep my blog up to date. I hope as time goes by I will have the opportunity to learn to organize my time better and post deals as well as shopping trips.
